Saying goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016!

Saying goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016!

Something I have been doing now for quite a few years, something you may like to do, is reviewing the year that has just passed. Credit for this inspiration comes from Leonie Dawson and her incredible workbooks.

I like to look at the year writing down the lessons the year taught me.
Which of my dreams came true, was I transformed by anything, did I let go of anything, what did I learned about myself? I reflect and write it all down as a release. I rant and rave and celebrate too, it is good to get it all out, so I can look forward to the new year to come. After I have written it all down I sit quietly, I do some breathing, giving thanks for all that transpired, acknowledging and letting go of that which no longer serves me. Knowing as I release this year I make myself ready for the year to come.

This gives me a clear head to start to think about what it is I want to create in the year to come. Once again with pen and paper I start to write what I would like this year to bring me. What do I want to feel? Do I have any affirmations I would like to use to describe the year to come? I like to have separate goals for my personal life, my business life, my spiritual side, and my body. How do I want to relate to my family and friends? How do I want to give back to the world?
What are some of the things I want to achieve this year?

A vision board is also nice to do.
This year during the Christmas holiday we had plenty of poster board and magazines about, and those that visited with us had time to do a vision board. Cutting anything that grabs your fancy, words, pictures, etc and paste create what it is you want to achieve. My vision board this year took me a few days to create as I took my time cutting and collecting. Once it is complete hang it somewhere that you will see it everyday. A most powerful way to create!!

Okay that is all from me now. I am off to clean the yoga studio getting it ready for the year ahead.
I love to organise and downsize and rearrange it makes the space so much better..... but I will save this topic for another time.
